Food Connection

For more than 70 years, Howard Prep has been rooted in the heart of this community. Because of your generosity through donations and volunteer support, we have continued to grow, serve, and strengthen the lives of those around us. The Food Connection Program is one of the most meaningful ways we give back.

Created to fight food insecurity across our county, this program provides fresh, healthy produce every Friday at no cost to low income families, local churches, recovery homes, and some of our own program participants and their families. We believe no one should have to choose between putting food on the table and paying their bills, and we are committed to helping ensure they do not have to.

With continued community support, Howard Prep is working toward building a fully stocked community pantry to serve even more neighbors in need. Every donation of food, time, or funds moves us closer to making that vision a reality. This work is not only about food. It is about dignity, relief, and connection. When you support the Food Connection Program, you help neighbors, uplift families, and strengthen the fabric of our community. Together, we can ensure that everyone, regardless of their circumstances, has access to nutritious food and a renewed sense of hope. Join us in keeping the cycle of giving strong and helping ensure no table goes empty in our community.
